Privacy Policy

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (display name, username, bio).

Content you create: Recipes, meal plans, collections, and grocery lists you create or import. This includes recipe photos you upload.

Usage data: Information about how you use the Service, including features accessed, AI extraction usage, and session activity.

Payment information: Subscription and billing information is collected and processed by Stripe and RevenueCat. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

URLs you submit: When you use our AI recipe extraction feature, we fetch and process the URL content you provide.

• To personalize your experience (recipe suggestions, meal planning)
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate Taco Tuesday:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data is stored in US-based servers. Privacy policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management and billing. Privacy policy
• Stripe — payment processing. Privacy policy
• Anthropic — AI model (Claude) for recipe extraction. URL content you submit is processed by Anthropic’s API. Privacy policy
• Apple — in-app purchase processing on iOS. Subscription payments made through the iOS app are handled by Apple and subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Privacy policy
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure. Privacy policy

Session cookies: We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

Preference cookies: We store your settings (such as meal plan preferences) in your account, not in tracking cookies.

Analytics: RevenueCat collects anonymized usage analytics related to subscription events. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising tracking technologies.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes.

Recipes you mark as public are visible to all users of the Service and may be indexed by search engines. You can make a recipe private or delete it at any time from the recipe settings.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Recipe content you have made public may remain accessible briefly due to caching.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
• Export your data (data portability)
• Object to certain processing

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice within the Service. The updated policy will be effective upon posting.
